Riding My E-Bike Inside the Open Eye Gallery – A Unique Perspective
Sometimes, the best way to experience a space is to see it from a different perspective—so I took my e-bike inside the Open Eye Gallery and captured something truly unique!
The result? A video showcasing the incredible symmetry of shadows inside the building, turning a simple ride into an artistic exploration.
A Space Filled with Creativity For those who don’t know, Open Eye Gallery is a contemporary art space in Liverpool, England, just a short walk from Tate Liverpool.
It’s known for its photography, film, video, and installation exhibitions, always offering fresh and thought-provoking content. Right now, Open Eye Gallery has moved temporarily to RIBA North, Mann Island, while its home at Royal Albert Dock undergoes redevelopment.
The new space may be smaller, but it still hosts talks, tours, and creative workshops, alongside interactive family activities inspired by collections from Tate and RIBA. Plus, the gallery shop is a great place to find unique gifts!
The Ride Through Art & Light Riding my e-bike inside the gallery was an experience like no other.
The building’s layout, combined with the way light and shadows danced around me, created an almost cinematic effect.
The symmetry of the space added to the magic, making the whole ride feel like an art installation in motion. I filmed the ride, capturing the movement, shadows, and angles that made this experience so special.
